Jesus talks in John 3 about Himself being the Light of the world come to expose men’s deeds. He said that God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son to save the world, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but will inherit everlasting life. Then He says he who is in Him comes to the Light, and the Light exposes what a man does- whether his deeds are good or evil. And Jesus said men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. If there was ever a time when people loved sin more than God, it is definitely now. With judgment heading towards us, the tribulation coming closer every day, multitudes are caught up in the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches. Churches cut out prayer and prayer meetings. Lukewarmness abides. The testimony of Jesus, people taking up their cross, denying themselves, and following Jesus, has nearly vanished from the annuls of daily life. Church isn’t priority. The great commission isn’t priority. Preaching the gospel to the world isn’t important, and discipleship isn’t important. People have settled into the great falling away from the faith Paul said would come before the antichrist was revealed before Jesus returns again. There’s no great outcry for revival- at least, there’s only whisperings and talk, but no one taking real action. The Bible says in the end when the power of the holy people is shattered, Jesus will soon return. There’s not much left until God fulfills Isaiah 24. If you haven’t read Isaiah 24, read it now, please. God, in His great mercy and long suffering, is getting ready to shut the book. The time of tribulation is heating up in preparation to test those living on earth. And we know many will die throughout the last seven years. We will see the judgments of the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and Jesus will rapture His church. After that, those left behind will face the wrath of God with the seven bowl judgments. In the nexts months to come, judgment will be hitting the house of God heavy. God judges His own house before He judges the rest of the world. And after His house is judged, tribulation begins. This is a time of preparation for the saints to mobilize to preach the gospel to all people so the end can come. And we know 3 and 1/2 years into the tribulation, the antichrist is revealed and ends all worship to the living God, declaring himself god, and setting up his mark of the beast and persecuting and martyring believers and anyone who opposes his rule. The great tribulation is the second half of the seven years during this time. The stage is being set. Just as Jesus said, many will become offended, will betray one another, and turn from God. Deception is rampant and everywhere. People’s ears are dull to hearing the true word of God preached anymore. False teachers are all over. People raise up apostates who tickle their ears. And true Christians are persecuted, martyred, and cast out as evildoers as darkness consumes the earth. This is Satan’s dissertation- his arsenal of destruction sent to ensnare men to hell so they can’t be saved and be with God forever. People loving darkness rather Light; people loving sin rather than righteousness. People being lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. And the church doesn’t care as the ship sinks, many serving idols instead of fasting and praying and completing the great commission. If you think everything is alright, you are deceived. Every second that counts down, the tribulation inches nearer. And the rapture isn’t pre-trib as many are deceiving you with, telling you that Jesus is going to save you from the tribulation. It isn’t biblical. That’s not what the Bible teaches. So, the set-up is here. Time is closing in. And people are just continuing to walk oblivious to the impending judgment. What are you going to do? Stand by and watch and do nothing as the judgment is about to be poured out? Is darkness so much better for you than Light? Is sin better than righteousness? The kingdom of God isn’t worth it, is it? He has no place in you- it’s okay not to honor His commandments, isn’t it? Life will be alright, won’t it? This bible stuff isn’t real, is it? Just live and do as you please, because there is no god. And that is what the fool believes. Are we going to be fools living like sin has no consequences, or are we going to take heed to the commandments of God and repent of sin and turn to God’s righteousness, humbling ourselves, praying and seeking God daily, and letting God hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land? The time to decide is now, today. Let those who fear God and keep His commandments be ready for the harvest. The fire is coming. And it is time to get into the upper room and pray until Pentecost comes again, go after God for revival and the deliverance of our friends and family from sin so they can be saved, and get ready for the coming tribulation. We have the opportunity to make a difference like never before. Churches need their prayer meetings back. It’s time to get on our knees, submit to God, and lay down over His mercy seat until He delivers us from every sin, covers us with His glory, and sends us forth in the power of His Holy Spirit and fire to preach the gospel of His only begotten Son, Christ Jesus, the soon coming King of kings, and Lord of lords. Are you going to live for Jesus, or sit back binge watching television while your loved ones and the world continues on a path to hell? It is time for the church to set themselves apart from the world, and to declare that as for us and our house, we will serve the Lord. The dividing line has gone out. A Christian will take the cross. There will be no more hiding for believers. It is time to arise and shine, for our light is come! Are you committed to your loved one’s salvation? Are you committed to God’s kingdom? Because His kingdom is coming, and the Lord God Almighty is preparing His dissertation, the announcement of His coming Son to rule the earth. Will you be ready for Him? Are you ready for Him now? Time is ticking away. Repent or perish.
