When you’re full of the devil, you do Satan’s will; when you’re full of the Holy Spirit, you do the Lord God Almighty’s will. If you’re living in sin, you’re grieving the Holy Spirit and have lost the glory of God, and you are subject to the devil. A person in bondage to sin and the devil cannot please God, and you’re needing repentance and deliverance from sin, and for Christ Jesus to save you. There’s no gray area where sin is okay with God. Jesus said, if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; and if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. We are not to let sin reign in our mortal body. If you have lost the glory of God, and you know you’re committing sin, it’s time to repent or perish. If you die without repenting of your sin, knowing that God has given you the command to repent from sin today and return back to Him, you will face the Lord Christ in judgment and you risk having Him tell you to “depart from Him into everlasting fire”. Is it worth it to hear this and continue in sin? No, it’s not. Is your soul worth losing over whatever sin has gained you? It’s time for the house of God to repent- our Master is coming quickly. Do this now before it is too late. That person or people or idol holding you back, needs to be dealt with today. Lay aside every weight that so easily besets you and awake to righteousness- you don’t want to be like the 5 foolish virgins who got left behind at the Bridegroom’s wedding for not keeping oil in your lamp and keeping your fire burning. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is the oil to light the fire of God in your life, and He isn’t playing second fiddle to anyone or anything in your life. He is either Sovereign Lord, which means Lord of all, or He isn’t Lord at all.
